IT COORDINATOR

General Duties: Position is responsible for coordinating, analyzing, diagnosing and repairing work on NWICA workstations, notebooks, servers, copiers, phone systems, and other equipment. The position will also be coordinating the planning/implementation of operational activities in the IT Department in conjunction with the VP of Information Technology/Facilities Management. They will work with the department to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions.

Qualifications: University or technical degree in the field of computer science or information systems and/or 3-5 years of related work experience. Understanding and technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019, Terminal Servies, Active Directory, Network Administration, SharePoint and IP phone systems. Must be proficient with technical troubleshooting notebooks, workstations, and network infrastructure. Must have knowledge of working in a helpdesk environment and server administration. Must be able to coordinate/communicate effectively with customers, service providers, staff and the general public. Will need the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and be able to use Microsoft applications. Must be insurable under the agency's liability policy.

CLINICAL ASSISTANT

The Clinic Assistant is the initial point of contact for visitors, vendors, staff and callers and must maintain a professional yet friendly demeanor. The Clinic Assistant is responsible for daily operations of the front desk/receptionist area and is responsible for keeping complete and accurate documentation. The Clinic Assistant performs all clerical functions of the Special supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).  The primary function of the WIC Clerk is to assist the WIC Supervisor, Competent Professional Authority (CPA), and Registere

d Dietician (RD) in the WIC certification process of participants.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Possesses High School Diploma or GED equivalent minimally?
· WIC experience desirable

· Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills.

BREASTFEEDING ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR (WIC- Women, Infant, and Children) Part Time /20 hours

The WIC Breastfeeding Assistant Coordinator oversees the inventory of pumps and supplies in all WIC Clinics, and Administration office.  He/she will provide promotion of breastfeeding in the community, amongst participants and with the WIC Program staff.   The WIC Breastfeeding Assistant Coordinator will share information about the WIC Program and its benefits to participants, and assist with WIC Program promotion/education and outreach for the purpose of maintaining and increasing participant utilization.  

Qualifications:
* A  Qualified Nutritionist, Licensed Registered Nurse or Dietitian.  Also a Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences (Home Economics) with an emphasis in Nutrition defined as a minimum of 9 hours in nutrition which include; 3 hours of introductory nutrition, 3 hours in life cycle nutrition or maternal/infant nutrition, 3 hours in advance nutrition.
* CPA (Competent Professional Authority) or desire and completion of the CPA program within 12 months of hire.
* WIC experience desirable with demonstrated expertise in breastfeeding management and promotion.
* Has credentials of an International Board Certified Lactation Consult (IBCLC) or has other certification

WIC SITE MANAGER/CPA

Under the direct supervision of the WIC Manager, the WIC Site Manager/Competent Professional Authority's (CPA) primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of program services in compliance with NWICA, Indiana State Department of Health, Federal and other WIC program identified guidelines, policies and procedures. 

The responsibilities of the WIC Site Manager/CPA would include providing eligibility determination of WIC participants, educate and counsel in the areas of nutrition, determine nutritional risk, develop and implement care plans, and provide supportive community referrals, positively promote breastfeeding, engage in community outreach activities, prescribing food packages, while providing the accurate documentation and reporting requirements in accordance to the guidelines, policies and procedures of the WIC Program.

The WIC Site Manager/CPA is expected to be an active participant in the agency's mission, vision, and values and an active participant in promoting and fulfilling the principles and ethical standards of professional case management.  He/she shall work to ensure that consistent, reliable, responsive, and high-quality services are provided to the agency's constituents, partners, and customers.  He/she will demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, and flexibility and will maintain positive working relationships with all agency personnel, will be inclusive and communicative with all staff, and will establish herself/himself as a primary resource within the agency for consumer empowerment and independence and to those supervisees. 
 
MAJOR DUTIES
* Is an active participant of the WIC Administrative Team.
* Provides day-to-day supervision and evaluates the work of employees who perform WIC Clinic functions.
* Review, approve and process time sheets and office supplies for staff.
* Advises and assists staff with issues pertaining to assistance being provided.
* Performs quality review of WIC Clinic work to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal guidelines related to assistance programs and ensures that timelines and reporting deadlines are met to avoid federal funding and fiscal sanctions.
* Gather statistical information as directed/requested and participates in internal and external audits; assists with the development and implementation of corrective action plans. Prepares and/or directs the preparation of records and reports and ensures the staff members enter and update information into the State mandated software program.
* Reviews, develops, or modifies work plans, methods, and procedures, determines work priorities, and develops work schedules to provide adequate staff coverage and staff utilization. Provides work instruction and assists employees with difficult and/or unusual assignments and encourages innovation. Assigns and distributes work, reviews for accuracy and completeness and maximum service utilization, and returns assignments with recommendations for proper completion.
* Provides orientation and training for WIC Clinic staff, and works with other NWICA management to recruit and select new case managers.
* Conducts at least monthly team meetings with staff.
* Resolves problems and mediates conflicts encountered during daily operations, determines appropriate solutions, and promotes teamwork. Encourages regular communication and informs staff of relevant business issues and their impact on the organization.
* Creates and maintains enhanced and progressive communication, within the team and with the team and agency,  insuring both that agency values, priorities, and projects are shared with assigned staff and that staff concerns are communicated to manager(s) and senior management.
* Develops the performance enhancement plan, documents performance, provide performance feedback, evaluates the work of employees, and provides reward and recognition for proper and efficient performance. Develops and implements training and development plans and opportunities.
* Documents causes for disciplinary action and makes formal recommendations for disciplinary action.
* Participate in regular staff meetings, staff training programs, supervisory sessions and accept responsibility for aiding the development of positive team relationships.
* Assist with outreach and recruitment of program participants as well as the promotion of the WIC program.

SSVF (Supportive Services for Veteran Families) CARE COORDINATOR

General Statement of Duties: Care Coordinator will act as a source of support and guidance to homeless Veterans being placed into permanent, service-enriched housing.  The Care Coordinator provides ongoing assessments for safety, mental health and substance use issues to encourage and guide client to achieve personal stability.  The Care Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a caseload, facilitating rental assistance and working with clients to ensure stability and sustainability in housing.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Gerontology, with at least two years of experience in a human services setting utilizing care plans and service delivery, current certification as Division of Aging Case Manager.  Transferable experience in service management, quality improvement, and project/service development. Certified Community Health Workers will be considered.

BREASTFEEDING PEER COUNSELOR (WIC- Women, Infant, and Children)
Full and Part Time Available

General Statement of Duties: The primary function of the WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor is to promote breastfeeding within the community and the clinic in conjunction with outreach activities of the WIC Program. The Peer Counselor recruits and counsels WIC prenatal and nursing mothers as well as provides breastfeeding support and education for new mothers.

Qualifications: Candidate should be a current or previous breastfeeding mother with a minimum of 6 months of breastfeeding experience. Willing to successfully complete WIC Peer Counselor training. Must have reliable transportation. Must have internet access at home. Basic knowledge of clerical work (filing, data entry, telephone etiquette, etc.) required. CARE MANAGER

General Statement of Duties: Position is responsible for face to face assessment of client needs and resources, establishing services to meet the individual's critical and non-critical needs through the formalizing of supports and authorizing paid services when needed. 

The Care Manager provides case management services, assessment, care planning and client empowerment to low income, elderly, and disabled individuals to support making educated decisions regarding their long-term care planning and in remaining independent within their homes and community. 

Qualifications: Registered nurse with one year's experience in human servic?es; or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, Gerontology or Health & Human Services; or Bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of one year full-time, direct service experience with the elderly or disabled (this experience includes assessment, care plan development, and monitoring); or Master's degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience; understanding of the case management process and low-income, elderly populations; able to coordinate/communicate effectively with customers, service providers, staff and general public; ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks; computer skills; Microsoft Word data entry skills required.
