Nursing Home Pre-Admissions Screening

In 1983, the Indiana Pre-Admission Screening Program was created with the focus being to prevent unnecessary placement in a nursing facility.

We screen applicants to ensure that individuals require the level of care furnished by the nursing facility. If a nursing facility level of care is not necessary, NWICA Options Counselors will work with individuals to identify appropriate services.
