The American Rescue Plan Act was signed into law in 2021 with the goal of providing relief to individuals and organizations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. NWICA is proud to be able to use these funds to support senior services in the region and help ensure that seniors have access to the resources they need to stay healthy in their homes and communities.
“The grant provides an enhancement to our current programs, development of new services, and the needed funding to expand in areas of service at our senior centers. All amazing, and all greatly appreciated!” said Colee.
These grants will enable NWICA to continue their mission of providing essential services and support to those in need. “We are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in Northwest Indiana.
